I'm Cj Prophet with Flex Squad Fitness and I've been a certified personal trainer for 6 years. I developed a love for personal training while going through my very own weight loss. I'd never been very fit my entire life but after I got married I put on more and more weight. Eventually I got to 295 pounds (at 5'10") and was told by my doctor that I had high blood pressure and cholesterol at 23 years old. So I decided that I was done with that life. I was done with not being able to tie my shoes without losing my breath, I was done with constantly pulling at my clothes trying to stretch them out so they'd fit better and more than anything I was done with feeling uncomfortable in my own skin. So I invested in a great personal trainer who eventually helped me to lose 85 pounds. Even though losing the weight was hard work I enjoyed the process so much that I decided I wanted to change careers. I wanted to see others make the changes I made and I wanted to be the one to help them do that. So I became a personal trainer and I've been training ever since. It has truly been a blessing in my life to see people make changes that have brought happiness to them and their families. I look forward to many more years of helping people reach their well deserved goals.
