Lauren Provenzano, MS, MBA, is the Vice President of Product and Innovation at the American Council on Exercise. Provenzano, who is formerly an NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, started her career as an ATC at a Division I university for almost four years, where her primary role was the administration of post-injury and post-surgical rehabilitation programs for student-athletes across 20 sports. Since moving to a career in the fitness industry, her specialization has been working with clients, both athletes and non-athletes, who are struggling with chronic injuries and conditions, including professional athletes, Olympic athletes, and retired athletes, as well as weekend warriors and those who have never led an active lifestyle but strive for improved strength and movement capability in the face of chronic conditions. In addition to her practical experience, Provenzano has held several strategic leadership positions in fitness operations, from brick-and-mortar studios to FitTech. Provenzano holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, a master’s degree in athletic training from Illinois State University, and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
