About Deborah Beck Busis

Deborah Beck Busis, LCSW, is the diet program coordinator at the Beck Institute in suburban Philadelphia. She specializes in the application of cognitive behavior therapy to overweight and obese individuals, who she works with face to face, by phone and via Skype. Deborah is a national presenter at seminars and workshops. She also produces articles and blogs, develops educational materials, and consults with organizations developing or refining weight-loss programs. She holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania and a license in social work. Deborah also helps produce the Beck Diet Solution Blog and research a study measuring the effectiveness of a cognitive behavior therapy program for weight loss and maintenance.
