Weight Loss Reality TV Is Back

The Biggest LoserThe popular reality television shows, The Biggest Loser on NBC and Dancing with the Stars on ABC, are back with brand new seasons.

Dancing with the Stars isn't as focused on weight loss, but People reports that this season's stars, like Ricki Lake, are already seeing the inches melt away! Having lost 8 1/2 inches in just two weeks, Lake hopes to be this season's Kirstie Alley. Alley lost at least 38 inches last season.

Other notable celebrities on the popular ballroom dancing show are David Arquette and Chaz Bono.

Over on NBC, season 12 of The Biggest Loser premieres tonight. Celebrity trainer Bob Harper will be back, but Jillian Michaels won't. To replace her, NBC has brought on professional tennis player Anna Kournikova and trainer Dolvett Quince.

Do you watch these shows? What do you think about them?

Here's what ACE has to say about ballroom dancing to work out and real versus reality tv personal trainers.
