FROM FINANCE SUCCESS TO FITNESS PURPOSE!
Rami Aboumahadi’s path into fitness began after building a successful career in finance. After immigrating to the United States at 18, he earned dual degrees in Accounting and Economics and launched his career on Wall Street. While he achieved professional success, something was missing. Over time, he realized he wanted to make a more meaningful impact on people’s lives.
That realization led him to health and fitness. After earning his ACE Personal Trainer Certification, Rami discovered a way to combine science, education, and coaching to support people physically, emotionally, and socially. What began as a career pivot quickly evolved into a lifelong mission.
One of Rami’s most powerful success stories involves a 35-year-old client recovering from a heart attack. Weighing over 300 pounds after completing cardiac rehabilitation, the client committed to change. Within a year of training together, he lost nearly 100 pounds and transformed his lifestyle. Years later, he returned with his daughter—now in college—and encouraged her to train with Rami as well. Today, Rami works with the next generation of that family, an experience he describes as both humbling and deeply rewarding.

Rami now works primarily with healthcare professionals at HCA Florida JFK Hospital, where he founded the Employee Wellness Center. Since launching his 12-week Total Transformation Challenge in 2007, more than 6,000 participants have taken part, collectively losing over 60,000 pounds and improving key health markers like blood pressure, cholesterol, and A1C levels. The program has earned multiple recognitions from the American Heart Association, including nine consecutive Fit-Friendly Company Platinum awards.
In addition to his hospital work, Rami supports bariatric patients and offers both in-person and virtual coaching. His philosophy centers on consistency, patience, and meeting clients where they are—especially those navigating stress, long work hours, and elevated health risks.
Rami’s story shows how one bold career change can create a ripple effect of healthier lives and stronger communities. If you’re ready to make a meaningful change like Rami, we’re here to help you launch a rewarding career in health and fitness.
