Path to the Future: The Real Health Coach

Despite the fact that there are 29,365 health and fitness clubs nationwide, two new FDA-approved diet pills and numerous fad diets that sell quick-fix solutions, the number of overweight and obese Americans has continued to climb to more than 67 percent, according to data from IBISWorld and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Explore the role health coaches play in reversing that trend by attending a FREE webinar valued at 0.1 continuing education credit (CEC) featuring behavioral psychologist Dr. Michael Mantell.

Hosted by ACE and PFP media, “Path to the Future: The Real Health Coach” will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 11 a.m. (PT)/2 p.m. (ET).

Mantell will discuss how fitness professionals, wellness and medical authorities, human resources and allied healthcare specialists certified as health coaches can have a direct impact on the lifestyles, well-being and achievements of people facing obesity.

The presentation comes on the heels of the launch of the ACE Health Coach Certification. Intended for fitness, nutrition, wellness, human resource and allied health professionals who want to make a resounding difference in the way people live, the credential is the only one of its kind accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).

The certification helps professionals build their expertise in exercise science, fitness and behavior modification so they can connect with people in a way that makes them believe they can change long term.

To register at no cost to you, visit the PFP website. If you have questions about the ACE Health Coach Certification, please feel free to give ACE a call at 888-825-3636, Ext. 782, or email us at help@ACEfitness.org
