Alexandra Link, MS, is the Director of Credentialing for the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She oversees all aspects of ACE Certification Programs and certification services including strategy and operations for certification, recertification, and approval of continuing education. She also leads all test development activities for ACE's four certification programs for exercise professionals and health coaches, including recruitment and training of subject-matter experts (SMEs), managing exam translation and localization, and collaborating with ACE’s testing service providers on all aspects of test development and analysis. Link has worked in the credentialing industry for more than 14 years, contributing to many key initiatives including transitioning certification programs to virtual item development and live remote proctored (LRP) test administration, creating a robust SME training and mentorship program, developing and launching video-based items, enhancing ACE’s procedures for appeals, exam security, and disciplinary procedures, earning ISO/IEC 17024 Accreditation and maintaining NCCA Accreditation for ACE certifications. Link holds an M.S. in Exercise Physiology and holds all four ACE Certifications.
