Exercise Physiology/Exercise Programming

Lance C. Dalleck, Ph.D., serves as an assistant professor of exercise and sport science at Western State Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado. His research focuses on improving health outcomes through evidence-based practice; quantifying the energy expenditure of outdoor and nontraditional types of physical activity; and studying historical perspectives in health, fitness and exercise physiology. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles, delivered numerous conference proceedings, and written four book chapters. Dalleck has also served as an international reviewer for the latest edition of the American College of Sports Medicine's (ACSM) Guidelines for Exercise Testing and Prescription.
