Youth athletes need to excel in speed, strength and endurance. As sports performance coaches, we need to develop training programs that address all three of these variables to help youth athletes become multi-directional movers. In this ACE LiveClass, Melissa Myers, M.S., CSCS, ACE Certified Personal Trainer and co-owner of 1RM Performance, will discuss how to build effective training programs that incorporate various movements important for this population.

You will learn:

• Considerations for training multi-directional youth athletes

• How to develop a training program for youth athletes with long and short term goals in mind

• Programming a workout to develop strength, power, speed and endurance in youth athletes

Reviews

The course was very helpful because it detailed how to structure a workout around youth athletes that are involved in different sports, with different peaks throughout different seasons, and how to create a workout around those factors including different ages. I will be able to incorporate this into training hockey players and specialize the movements around the dynamic movements in their sport.

Some good handy tips 💪💪💪

Melissa is a great teacher and a youth athlete coach!
