Master the fundamentals of bands, bags, straps and kettlebells so you can confidently coach safe, effective and versatile training sessions in any setting.

There are countless tools in today’s fitness landscape but knowing how to use them safely and effectively is what sets exceptional professionals apart. Fitness Equipment Essentials delivers foundational training on four versatile, high-value tools: bands, bags, straps and kettlebells, helping you coach movement with clarity and confidence. Designed for those who are committed to movement quality, this course breaks down the advantages and limitations of each tool so you can make smart programming decisions. Whether you’re training clients in a gym, studio or on the go, you’ll gain practical strategies to help them move better and feel stronger.

This course provides step-by-step guidance on proper setup, safe execution, and foundational exercises for each piece of equipment. Instead of focusing on a single modality, you’ll learn how to integrate multiple tools into cohesive, results-driven programs that meet clients where they are. The content is clear, actionable and immediately applicable - ideal for newer professionals building their coaching toolkit or experienced pros looking to reinforce fundamentals. Walk away with the confidence to program efficiently, cue effectively, and elevate every training session.

Created by Mitch Hauschildt, MA, ATC, CSCS, founder of Maximum Training Solutions and Prevention, Rehab and Physical Performance Coordinator at Missouri State University, this course reflects nearly two decades of experience in injury prevention and performance enhancement. Reviews

I learned some new things I didn't know.

Mitch is such a great instructor. He puts it in plain language and to the point. Highly recommend this course and Mitch as an instructor!!! Jim Q

I thought that this video gave great information on ways to use all of the various equipment. The sound did not play for any of the videos from the kettlebell on, it was not muted. Luckily, I could use the subtitles to read. I did not care for the dynamic between the instructor and the model/student. The instructor could have been more patient and friendly when asking the student to do certain exercises.
