Todd Galati, CAE

Todd Galati brings a wealth of experience as both an exercise professional and a leader of global certification programs to the ACE Certification Advisory Board. Currently he works as a consultant providing organizations with strategic guidance for the development, delivery, and accreditation of certification, education, certificate, and continuing education programs. Previously, Galati served as the Senior Director, Credentialing and Practice Advancement, as well as the Senior Director, Science and Research at the American Council on Exercise (ACE). Earlier in his career Galati directed health research programs at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, taught courses at San Diego State University (SDSU) and California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM), worked as an exercise physiologist in medical fitness facilities and research physiologist with the U.S. Navy, and trained endurance athletes for regional, state, and national championships. He holds a master’s degree in kinesiology and a bachelor’s degree in athletic training, both from SDSU, and all four ACE certifications. Galati has served on multiple health and fitness committees including the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM) Roundtable on Obesity Solutions, Parkinson’s Foundation Exercise Competencies Leadership Committee, and Medical Fitness Association (MFA) Certification Committee, as well as accreditation committees including the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and the Committee on Accreditation for the Exercise Sciences (CoAES).
