Mary Jayne Rogers, Ph.D. received her doctorate in exercise physiology from the University of New Mexico. In her career in the fitness and wellness industry, Dr. Rogers has served as the regional fitness manager for the 4th largest health club system in the US, where she won the IHRSA/CYBEX Fitness Director of the Year Award. She owned and operated Profound Wellness Pilates studio, authored an award-winning book, From Overwhelmed to Inspired, Your Personal Guide to Health and Wellbeing, and founded the New Mexico Wellness Coalition. Education has been a continuing theme throughout Dr. Rogers’s career including positions at the University of New Mexico, A.T. Still University, and Community College of New Mexico. Additionally, she has written and taught Pilates curriculum for FTP Japan and currently provides Pilates teaching credentials and continuing education in Japan. She has been a particularly strong advocate for expanding health and fitness resources for children and older adults. Dr. Rogers believes that ACE Certified Professionals play an important role in improving people’s lives and thereby the world in which we live.
