Dodi Peterson is a retired Registered Dietitian. She graduated from Arizona State University with her BS in Foods and Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Oregon Health Sciences Center. She worked for over 40 years in clinical areas, behavioral health, the community and schools. Her populations included all ages, pediatrics, adults and families. Her career was rewarding, fulfilling and very challenging. In whatever nutrition realm she was practicing she always incorporated principles of wellness, which of course included acceptable, appropriate activity. In her personal life, raising 3 children she also encouraged health and wellness. She did not have many rules, but one was, in addition to school, all 3 children had to be involved in some type of physical activity. That included herself, she is a lifelong swimmer, hiker, and dog walker. She looks forward to assisting in any way she can with the ACE Certification Advisory Board.
