Nettye Johnson is a wife, mom, marathoner, fit-foodie, author, podcaster, and award-winning speaker/teacher providing science-based, faith-empowered education and resources for well living. Health education and coaching addressing healthy weight maintenance, family wellness, and African-American health disparities are areas of specialty. Nettye's passion is informing and equipping positive, sustainable change. A degreed and NCHEC credentialed health educator, Nettye also holds health coaching certification from the American Council on Exercise, and fitness certifications from National Exercise Trainer’s Association, and Road Runners Club of America. Nettye serves as National Physical Fitness Coordinator of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. H.O.P.E. HHS Partnership. She is founder of Education for Transformation, a wellness organization that develops and delivers curated education and programming for individuals, corporate, congregational and community clients.
