Help Expectant and New Mothers, Every Step of the Way

For many health and fitness professionals, helping prenatal and postnatal clients feel healthy, strong and equipped for motherhood is a fulfilling professional experience. It is also one that requires special knowledge and skills. Get a comprehensive overview of need-to-know information from the Training for Prenatal and Postnatal Clients course bundle so you can safely and effectively work with pregnant and postpartum women.

Courses include:

Prenatal Fitness for Two (0.1 CECs) – Exercise for a prenatal woman can have profound effects on both her health and her baby's experience in utero—with potential lifelong impact. Learn how to create programming based on your prenatal client’s needs through each trimester.

Exercise During and After Pregnancy:  Understanding the ACOG Guidelines (0.1 CECs) – To safely train prenatal and postnatal clients, the guidelines set forth by the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) provide a supportive roadmap of indications and contraindications. Find out the latest updates to these guidelines and learn advice on core work during pregnancy, as well as recommendations on exercising after birth.

Stand Strong:  Building Postnatal Core Strength Through the Feet (0.1 CECs) – The journey to balancing the kinetic chain after pregnancy starts with the feet. Discover the connection between the feet and the core, and see how this connection may be the secret to restoring core strength following a pregnancy.

You will earn CECs for each individual course you complete. If you have previously earned CECs for any of the courses in the bundle, you will not earn credits again.

Reviews

This online Pernatal and Postnatal course was very informative with up to date information from ACOG. I would recommend it to all Personal trainers and instructors as this is a very large population that we work with.
