Training competitive athletes requires a more specific approach than working with a typical client. Fine tuning athletic movements, training the mind and body to connect at crucial moments and creating sport-specific programming are the foundations for success in athletic training. In Fundamentals of Sports Performance, you will learn how to implement a training program that will guide athletes to peak performance. The course covers the basics of athletic performance training, including mind-body agility, functional athletic movement, various assessments and more. You will also learn the information and skills needed to get started in the business of training competitive athletes.
