In the final course of four that focus on the Cardiorespiratory Training component of the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® (ACE IFT®) Model, you’ll explore how and why steady state training has remained a viable method for improving performance and cardiovascular health. The course, led by ACE Exercise Physiologist Jacque Ratliff, also covers why the popularity of high intensity interval training (HIIT) has only recently begun to soar. Upon completion, you’ll have science-based information on how to incorporate both styles into fitness programs in Phase 4 of the cardiorespiratory training component of the ACE IFT Model.

You will learn:

  • To understand the metabolic effect of both high intensity interval and steady state training
  • How to use the ACE IFT Model to effectively program cardiovascular training plans
  • How to integrate both HIIT and steady state training into a fitness program
