Deidre Connelly, Ph.D. is a Sports Psychologist at the College of William and Mary. Dr. Connelly works with athletes, coaches, and teams on mental skills for competition, leadership training, and success skills. She has been published many times and has been invited to speak at numerous conferences and seminars. In this workshop, Deidre will talk about exercise adherence and motivation issues that effect our ability to achieve goals. Fitness professionals will take away tips for getting through "motivation slumps", such as creating plans and setting goals, that we can use ourselves and pass along to our clients.
