Help clients alleviate pain and regain freedom of movement
Musculoskeletal pain and imbalances are the most common and debilitating issues affecting Americans today. According to the National Institutes of Health, approximately one in two American adults suffers from musculoskeletal conditions—meaning that more than 120 million Americans are living in pain. Whether it’s low-back pain, sciatica, neck pain, non-arthritis joint pain, arthritic conditions or other musculoskeletal pain disorders, you can help with corrective exercise.
Becoming a Corrective Exercise Specialist in The BioMechanics Method®—the world's first and only step-by-step educational program designed specifically to teach health and fitness professionals how to successfully work with people who experience joint and muscle pain—will give you all the assessment, anatomy, corrective exercise and program design skills and knowledge necessary to help clients correct musculoskeletal imbalances so they can begin, return to or continue a program of regular exercise without limitations.
Created by Justin Price, MA—an IDEA International Personal Trainer of the Year, celebrated presenter and one of the top musculoskeletal assessment and corrective exercise experts in the world—The BioMechanics Method is a comprehensive approach to pain relief through structural alignment, sequential corrective exercise and effective client communication. With assessment and exercise techniques that are easy to understand and implement, you’ll be well-equipped to help your clients achieve improved function and pain-free living.
120 million Americans suffer from musculoskeletal pain—and they need your help.
Earning the Corrective Exercise Specialist designation will significantly boost both the expertise and earning potential of any health and fitness professional. Professionals who have earned The BioMechanics Method corrective exercise credential (TBMM-CES) are sought for their unique ability to help people eradicate pain so they can regain or continue active lifestyles.

What’s in the curriculum?
The Corrective Exercise Specialist Program is comprised of five modules. Each module consists of online lessons, digital text material, step-by-step video instruction and demonstrations, client assessment forms, self-check activities and online tests. Learning modules and quizzes must be completed in chronological order. You will have access to all five learning modules at once, but should only commence working on subsequent modules once you have successfully completed the one before it. Multiple-choice quizzes for each module are delivered in a convenient, online format.
How do I become a Corrective Exercise Specialist?
There are two options to become a Corrective Exercise Specialist: Complete the five-module specialist program all at once or pursue the same material in five separate courses. The second option is best for health and fitness professionals who want an introduction to the material but are not yet ready to commit to the entire curriculum all at once and would prefer to complete the course at a more leisurely pace—or simply want to better their knowledge in corrective exercise without becoming a Specialist. If you choose the second option, we recommend completing the courses in the order listed below to maximize your learning experience.
- The Fundamentals of Structural Assessment
- Understanding Muscles and Movement
- The Fundamentals of Corrective Exercise
- The Complete Corrective Exercise Library
- Corrective Exercise Program Design
Upon successful completion of the Corrective Exercise Specialist Program, or all five individual modular courses independently, you will be recognized as a Corrective Exercise Specialist by The BioMechanics Method (TBMM-CES). This credential does not expire. Purchase price of the Corrective Exercise Specialist Program includes all online materials, unlimited test retakes and access to the course itself.
In addition to your certificate recognizing your TBMM-CES status, you can also be included for free on The BioMechanics Method Specialist online referral register designed to help potential clients find you.
This course contains online lessons, digital text material, step-by-step video instruction and demonstrations, client assessment forms, self-check activities, and online tests.
