Are you ready to tackle one of the most prevalent health challenges of our time? Lower back pain affects millions globally, robbing individuals of mobility and joy. Startling statistics reveal its staggering reach: 65 million Americans (HPI) and 619 million worldwide (WHO) endure its relentless grip. But there's hope on the horizon.

Created by Lauren Shroyer, MS, NATA-BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and ACE’s Vice President of Product and Innovation, this course offers a transformative approach to combat chronic back pain, covering exercise selection, progression and regression for ideal program design. You will also explore essential strategies to provide pain relief and restore vitality in your clients with exercises that are ideal for clients with knee pain.

Whether you're a personal trainer or group fitness instructor, this course will equip you with the knowledge to make a profound difference in the lives of those suffering from low back and knee pain.

Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Effectively communicate with clients and hone motivational interviewing for tailored program design, understanding client needs and concerns

  • Uncover the link between kinetic chain dysfunction and back pain, gaining insight into root causes and know which exercises are appropriate for different kinetic chain variations

  • Elevate your clients' mobility, strength, and range of motion, unlocking newfound freedom

  • Navigate exercise selection and apply progressions and regressions with precision for effective low back pain relief

I truly appreciated how important the feet play in back pain (the Kinetic Chain) and I liked how the instructor took a complicated system and made it simple to understand (though, of course, I will have to look at the material again and again as I put it into action).
