In this course, taught by ACE Certified Professionals Jonathan Ross and Lawrence Biscontini, MS, you will learn about the potential powers of mindful movement and how to train the five major powers of the brain. Drawing on years of experience, the duo covers physiology of brain degeneration and how group fitness instructors and personal trainers can use tactics to create regeneration. You’ll learn how attitudes, opinions and feelings about exercise are learned and conditioned, and how to turn negativity to positivity. The course will also cover general brain function during training and during sleep, plus easy techniques for improving both long and short term memory, maximizing alertness, increasing reaction time and improving overall wellness through mental power.

The first 15 minutes were a total waste of time with forced movement and exercise. and it almost got worse from there. This whole thing was dated and hard to sit through.
Really old and debunked information from a symposium taped (probably on Betamax) in 2013. The right/left brain stuff presented is not the current theory. I did this as part of the CEC club, so I didn’t pay full price. Honestly, that’s the only positive thing I can come up with. I’m disappointed that ACE offers this for CEC purposes.
