About

I offer a radically new way of looking at the body and health. I combine the knowledge of the mind/body/spirit from the fitness world, the holistic world and NLP Leadership life coaching in order to help you journey inside to listen to the deep wisdom your body is willing to share with you. In learning to tune out the external chatter while learning to tune into the internal wisdom, you will learn what your aches and pains are really saying to you, learn to ask and trust your body's answers above all else, and feel more at home in your own skin then ever before. I combine all my modalities into highly functional fitness that meets not just your daily movement needs, but your body's movement needs. I help clients reconnect to themselves preferably out in nature with their own version of Movement Medicine (i.e. playtime and adult recesses). No weights - except body weight - no treadmills, no follow the leader. A Movement session with me might consist of: * rolling on the ground to gain better kinesthetic awareness and awaken nerve endings that go to sleep when you sit too much * Hula Hooping to awaken the central nervous channel and open up the hips - the seat of creativity * exploring how your body's moves in circles, in jumps, in a crawl or in a wave to music that moves you all the while listening to where you need to go slower, speed up or pause in isometric contractions. * being asked provocative, probing questions by me about what you really want out of life, what behaviors and thoughts are standing in the way - and then helping you close the gap both mentally and physically Learn more about my style of working with the entire embodied system at www.HolliCM.com
