When I say wellness, I mean having optimal levels of emotional, physical, intellectual, social, occupational, spiritual, interpersonal and intrapersonal states of wellness. To have balance in physical wellness means to engage in various exercises not stick to one modality. The key is to try new things-play with ideas and be innovative. If you have a goal, I say go out and experience it to the fullest! Do your research, understand the implications, be realistic with your goals, and know your journey will not be smooth the whole time. As a personal trainer, I guide my clients in a constructive and fitting manner to help them achieve a higher state of physical wellness. By showing them how physical wellness will help achieve their fitness goals, they can see the benefits of their choices. The guiding focus is to learn that all aspects of wellness are intricately connected. This holistic approach to exercise is very special to me. In my studies I am consistently inspired by the wonders of how seamless the body is and how that understanding must feed back into program design. The bottom line is to advocate self-discovery, which is the key to achieving your fitness goals.
