After 20 years in the insurance industry at a 'sit down' job, I decided to pursue a career in the fitness industry. 10 years ago I joined a gym to 'get healthy' but still had many unhealthy habits (ie. smoking). Over the past 10 years I changed many of my lifestyle habits, began weight training, running and getting healthier. About 2 years ago, I began taking classes to become a personal trainer and recently became certified by the American Council of Exercise (ACE).
