About Brian Anderson: Hi. Thanks for reading a bit about me. I have been active in weight training and cardiovascular training for over twenty years. My background includes: 1) a master of science degree in public health/epidemiology 2) ten years of teaching group fitness classes [Les Mills' RPM, BodyPump, BodyAttack, CXWorx, and BodyFlow] as well as Flexibility, Core Conditioning, and Jump Rope. 3) six years of Personal Training and Health Coaching I believe with the right coaching, all motivated people can identify and work toward fitness and lifestyle goals, which are relevant and realistic for them. Compassion, curiosity and dedication define me, Personal Training has been available for nearly a half-century. My training motto is "Safety First, Then Fun, Then Fitness." Regardless of your age, fitness level, or 2016 goals, you and I can create and work through a plan to enhance your fitness if you are committed. Though I do offer training at a well-known club in Washington DC, I also offer training sessions in corporate gyms and condominium/home gyms. Health Coaching is comparatively new. Health Coaching seeks to define lifestyle issues with clarity, and then design a path that you and I can take to address and solve those issues. Hence, my model seeks to: Define, Design, Support, Hold Accountable. Sessions typically are held over the phone in a quiet space so you stay focused, keep relaxed, and take notes when you find that helpful. Engage your fears, and enhance your abilities.
