ACE Receives "Standard of Excellence" Award from Web Marketing Association Recognized for Outstanding Achievement in Website Development

San Diego, Calif. – Sept. 20, 2004 - The American Council on Exercise (ACE), America’s nonprofit fitness advocate, today announced that its website,, has received a “Standard of Excellence” Award from the Web Marketing Association (WMA)., which offers certified fitness professionals and consumers a complete selection of up-to-date fitness information and products, ranked highly in every judging category, including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, navigation and ease of use.

The WMA was founded in 1997 to help set a high standard for Internet marketing and corporate Web development and is the producer of the WebAwards, an annual competition designed to judge corporate Web sites against an Internet standard and against peer sites within their industry.
