About
Jana has a BS in Physical Education from Penn State University, and is certified as an ACSM Advanced Personal Trainer, ACE Personal Trainer, AAHFP Post-Rehab Conditioning Specialist and is a certified Kickboxing, Power Plate, TRX and KettleBells Instructor as well as CPR certified. Jana, having been a personal trainer for over 25 years, her training methodology incorporates a variety of training principles into every personal training session. Her “3D” approach to personal training gets you the results you want FAST. Performing exercises in “3D”, all three planes of motion, works more muscles simultaneously, burns more calories and improves your core, balance and coordination. A native of Peabody, MA, Jana was a member of both the 1980 and 1984 U.S. Olympic Fencing Teams, placing 23rd in the 1984 Olympics held in Los Angeles. She began her fencing career in 1972 at the age of ten, and at 17 became the youngest female to win the U.S. National Championships. Jana is a 2-time NCAA champion, 4-time All-American and was inducted into the United States Fencing Association Hall of Fame in 2000. “Refusing to change does not recapture the past. It loses the future." - Kathleen Norris
