About
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1994 with a B.S. in biology. I worked in vaccine manufacturing for several years, and completed coursework toward a post-graduate degree in biochemistry--all the while developing a passion for group exercise. I attended step aerobics classes until the last 2 weeks of my first pregnancy! Staying home to raise my family, I stepped out of the work scene but maintained my connection to the "grown up" world (and kept my sanity!) by continuing group exercise. When my youngest started first grade, I decided to turn my passion into my mission: use exercise to motivate, to educate, to encourage others to participate. Share the love! I teach strength and endurance, BOSU, Turbo Kick, and Low Impact for Everyone (LIFE) for active older adults. A long time fan and first time instructor, I am using my science background and the myriad of great instructors who came before me to develop and maintain classes that will make people happy to exercise, proud of their accomplishments, and eager for more.
