- Certified personal trainer since 1998, American Council on Exercise (ACE) - Board certified music therapist since 2008, Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) - Advanced fellowship training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT), 2010, 'Robert F Unkefer' Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy I provide Neurologic Music Therapy services for adults with neurological injury or illness, helping to facilitate physical, speech, and cognitive rehabilitation. When clients work with me, we set goals that help them to be more successful in their everyday lives. During a session, clients actively engage in music experiences that are designed to help them move, speak, and think more effectively by targeting specific changes in brain and behavior functions. My clients include, but are not limited to, stroke and traumatic brain injury survivors, and people with cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis.
