What’s in the curriculum?
The ACE Weight Management Specialist Program is designed for experienced health and fitness professionals, nurse practitioners, registered dietitians, medical assistants, and members of the allied health and community health team. You will learn behavior change strategies to help your clients reach their weight loss goals safely and effectively through diet and exercise. These individualized strategies include developing rapport to create a more empathetic environment that encourages success.
How do I become an ACE Weight Management Specialist?
To become an ACE Weight Management Specialist, you will complete each of the modules listed below, as well as complete the quizzes associated with the material.
Anyone may complete the Weight Management Specialist Program, but only those who also hold a current NCCA-accredited certification or an equivalent professional credential will be recognized as an ACE Specialist. For a list of accepted pre-requisite credentials, click here.
