Medical Fitness as a Career
Put Your Expertise to Work
As an ACE Certified Medical Exercise Specialist (CMES), you will have the advanced expertise to meet people wherever they are—even if that means they have just completed cardiac rehabilitation following a heart attack or orthopedic rehabilitation after a hip replacement—and guide them to optimal fitness. Having the insight to help a wide range of clients with multiple chronic medical conditions will help you function as a valued member of the healthcare team and work alongside healthcare and other allied health professionals. As a CMES, you will serve as the day-to-day guide for their patients, leading those affected by obesity, diabetes, low-back pain, knee surgery and many other conditions to real, healthy change.
