You will learn:
- Role of exercise in restoring or maintaining functional independence in older adults
- Program design and safety considerations for working with senior clients at home
- Development of a home exercise program with progressions for core, balance, lower- and upper-body strength, integrated whole-body movements, and stretching for older adults
I liked the content. Seeing the exercise demonstrations brought it to life. Good use of props...showed which exercise equipment to take to the client's home. I found the background music distracting more than once.
Very thorough and informative.
I liked that it had a nice balance of explaining concepts with also applied material.
