Discover balance and movement challenges for the core, upper and lower body, and exercise modifications that take into account considerations applicable to senior clients. Includes a 20-question online quiz you can complete from your home or office.

You will learn:

  • Role of exercise in restoring or maintaining functional independence in older adults
  • Program design and safety considerations for working with senior clients at home

Course is pretty well done. It focuses exclusively on video and audio, providing no written materials (ie summaries) at all. The videos take you through each component of a proper workout (pre-plan, warmup, conditioning etc) with exercises suggestions and their respective basic movements and progressions to more advanced moves from stability and mobility to movement. I would give this course another star or higher rating if it summarised the entire course by each Section instead of forcing me to take notes throughout and making the short series much longer than needed.

Very well presented on working with clients in their homes.
