Personal activity trackers such as Fitbit® Flex™, Jawbone UP™ and Garmin vívofit™ are taking the fitness industry by storm. In this webinar, led by Dr. Armbruster of Indiana University’s School of Public Health, you’ll discover how popular wearables can enhance the work you do as a personal trainer or health coach. Learn how you can introduce trackers to your clients and assist them in achieving their goals with regard to regular physical activity, adequate sleep and other healthy behaviors.
You will learn:
Which activity trackers work best for coaching and how they differ in their approaches
Current research related to use of activity trackers for fitness and lifestyle coaching
Ideas on how to integrate activity trackers into your training or coaching programs
This course may have been good several years ago, but it's about outdated technology, much of which is no longer relevant today. Much of the hour is spent learning specifics of specific trackers. The Apple Watch isn't on here at all. I don't feel the training is going to help me.
Not very useful as far as how to incorporate the devises. It is more historically informative from 2014 and earlier.
