Chronic Pain and Exercise: The Rules Have Changed

Chronic pain is defined as consistent pain lasting three months or more, or intermittent pain lasting for at least six months. Current research reveals that many long-held views regarding chronic pain and exercise are outdated. In this webinar, corrective exercise expert Anthony Carey, ACE Certified Advanced Health and Fitness Specialist and founder of San Diego-based Function First, will discuss the critical aspects of chronic pain. He’ll also share relevant exercises for clients suffering from chronic pain, based on the biopsychosocial model.

- How to establish goals and expectations for a client with chronic pain
- The constructs of the biopsychosocial model
