You know that interval training is a highly effective training technique, but it takes a bit of discipline on the instructor’s part. If there are a lot of distractions in and around your group exercise space, or you don’t want to keep a close eye on a clock or stopwatch, try mixing it up with intermittent training. You can make your job easier, and still deliver an intense workout by inserting intermittent power bursts and bouts of active recovery throughout the class.
