Bridging the Fitness Age Gap

It has become popular opinion that as we age, we deteriorate…losing strength, energy and flexibility. The adage of “use it or lose it” is appropriately applied to this antiquated theory. If we continue to keep our bodies active through all stages of life we can successfully ward off physical decline and greatly improve not only quantity but quality of life. A crucial component to any fitness regimen will be the addition of functional training – balance, stabilization & coordination.
