About Catherine Bedard: Catherine Bedard has twenty-six years of experience in the health/fitness industry. From the top athletic clubs in Atlanta and Manhattan to the sunny spas of Tampa, she’s lived her dream of bringing the joy of movement to others while helping them to realize and achieve their goals. She has a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from City College of New York, she attended the Alvin Ailey School of American Dance, and she worked in the dance industry for 10 years in NYC. She is certified by the PhysicalMind Institute to teach the full spectrum of apparatus-based Pilates exercises and has taught Pilates in New York City and Tampa, Florida for the last 12 years. Catherine is an American Council on Exercise certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and she holds a specialty recognition in Pre/Postnatal fitness. She loves to develop new skills when opportunities present themselves, and she is always eager to adopt the latest fitness equipment (her current favorite disciplines are TRX and Barre). Catherine enjoys assisting individuals to find balance and increase mental acuity through exercise, and as regards physical challenges, she believes that where there is a will, there is always a way!
