About
Jenn Rockey is an independent Certified Personal Trainer (ACE) and a certified Massage Therapist through the Chicago School of Massage Therapy (CSMT). Jenn has over twenty years of experience in the health/fitness industry. As a professional she provides guidance and direction to individual clients that are consistent with and/or suitable to their specific FITNESS & WELLNESS needs. Her training is unique in that she emphasizes the importance of achieving overall wellness and achieving health appearance and self-esteem through a safe and effective regimen. On a more personal note, Jenn is a Type I, insulin dependent controlled diabetic of OVER 30 years and has much practical and education experience in successfully surviving and coping with the disease. She specializes in exercise for both Type I and Type 2 diabetics, with specific exercise programs geared to help individuals with blood sugar control, cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, and flexibility and stress management. Jenn earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Health Promotion/Wellness and Exercise Science. She graduated as a therapeutic massage therapist from CSMT in 2000. In addition, she holds many health/fitness certifications, including American Council of Exercise-Personal Trainer, Pre/Post Natal Exercise, Sports Specific Training/Conditioning & Coaching, Reebok Neuromuscular-Training and Muscle Activation therapy.
