About
I began my career in Health and Fitness in 1985 and it has been quite a journey. I completed a Masters of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology in 1990 and spent 10 years managing Corporate Fitness Centers at General Electric and NYNEX (former Verizon). My experience then involved managing a commercial Health Club in the Westchester County area of New York as well as teaching a number of Group Fitness classes to include Step, Body Sculpting, Slide and Low Impact Aerobics. Since 1998, I wanted to share the empowering feeling that comes from regular exercise so devoted myself to designing individualized in home Exercise Prescriptions for a variety of clients. My certifications include ACE as a Personal Trainer, the Authentic Pilates Guild in 2003, CETI Cancer Exercise Specialist in November 2008 and 2012 and a Remedial Exercise Consultant in 2020. Currently, my love for the teachings of Joseph Pilates has brought me to Mindfulness and Health Coaching interests. My devotion to the Health and Fitness Industry is well into its third decade and I look forward to many more opportunities in this exciting field.
