Michael came into the fitness industry full time following a career in professional baseball in which he played for 3 Major league organizations (Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Mets, Montreal Expos). During his Baseball career Mike had the pleasure of working with and creating programs for many fellow athletes, providing the foundation for a future career in the fitness industry. Mike is the owner of The LAB (Performance & Sports Science) in West Caldwell, NJ, and a TRX Senior Course Instructor teaching various High level formats. Mike was the recipient of the 2013 TRX All-Around Instructor of the Year award (F.A.C.E.U.P) for his great attitude, community spirit and inspirational teaching. Mike specializes in Performance enhancement for the modern athlete and active adults. He is currently certified as an ACE Health Coach and also through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal trainer, Corrective exercise specialist,Performance Enhancement Specialist. He is also a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kean University and a Master of Science degree in Exercise Science and Performance Enhancement from California University of Pennsylvania.
