About Andrew Egan: Andrew T Egan, NSCA-CSCS, ACE-CPT, USAW, FMS. I'm a personal trainer at Royal Fitness & a volunteer Assist Strength & Conditioning Coach at University of Penn. I graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology (Exercise & Sports Science) from Temple University. I'm a NSCA - Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists, ACE - Certified Personal Trainer, USAW - Olympic Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach and I’m FMS (Functional Movement Screen) Level 1 Certified. I have been training in MMA out of Brach's MMA in Voorhees which is a Team Balance affiliate since 2009. Also I enjoy all aspects of fitness and train to be a Jake of all trades, striving to excel in Strongman, Powerlifting, Olympic Weightlifting, Plyometric, Calisthenics, Cardiovascular, Agility & Speed training styles of exercises. Philosophy: Everything I do with my Clients will be in effort to help them meet their individual goals. The foundation of a client’s training program would be built around improving the client’s strength, power, speed, quickness, endurance, stamina, flexibility, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy as needed for their particular goals. Training clients to perform each exercise with proper technique is a high priority for me and helps insure that my client is getting the most out of an exercise while greatly decreasing risk of injury. I will address any mobility/flexibility problems and apparent weakness/deficiency that the client may be suffering from. I am always looking to stay current on the new most innovating methods and research in kinesiology/sports performance to apply to the training of my clients. A high standard of professionalism is what everybody can expect when working with me, as well as a motivating and enjoyable environment.
