About
I am currently working on my B.S. in exercise science. I began personal training about 3 years ago at Iowa State, and recently became ACE certified. I have a very diverse background in fitness, starting with dance and gymnastics at age 4. I was very involved in athletics from elementary though high school, and experimented with many forms of athletic conditioning including competitive Olympic-style weightlifting. While in college, I’ve also studied mechanical engineering, and logged over 150 hours in various physical therapy settings. I enjoy dancing, boxing, kickboxing, martial arts, yoga, pilates, swimming, and running with my dogs. I’m always up for trying something new, especially when it comes to fitness, and I’m excited to continue broadening my knowledge. I look forward to teaching, sharing, and learning with my clients, and most of all having fun. Working out doesn’t have to feel like work!
