I graduated in May of 2005 from Lake Washington Technical Collage. I have an AAS Degree as a Fitness Specialist. In July of the same year I received a Certificate as a Personal Trainer from the American Council of Exercise (ACE). I also have a certificate with Resist-a-ball, Heart Zone and Zumba. This is my third or fourth career change. The profession this time chose me I didn't choose the profession. About five years ago I found herself frozen and wallowing in self pity because of the pain I was in. After years of searching for the right doctor to tell me why she was in so much pain and why I couldn't move. I meet a doctor that told me the only cure was to exercise, eat right and get plenty of sleep! I really thought this doctor was like all the others, crazy and pulling the diagnosis out of a hat. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia (anonarticular rheumatic disorder characterized by pain, tenderness, and stiffness of muscles and associated connective tissue structures). But this time the doctor was right. After many hours of physical therapy and a lot of hard work in the gym I have turned my life around and am now in great health and can deal with the pain that my condition leaves me with. I want to take the knowledge that I've learned through my life and from going from an unhealthy adult to one that can do anything you put your mind too. It's never too late to get started.
