I've been a personal trainer for over 5yrs. certified with an in house certification at Texas Southern University Recreation and Wellness Center where I have been employed for 6yrs. We've currently decided to go national by joining the ACE Personal Training education curriculum program where we prepare individuals for the ACE exam. We now require all fitness trainers to be ACE certified. Because I am currently over the Personal Training Program and the fitness department It was only necessary for me to become certified as well. As of May of 2009 I am now an ACE certified Personal Trainer. I am also a certified group exercise instructor through AFAA. My long term goal is to manage my own fitness and wellness center partnered with my family that will emphasize the overall wellness components of spiritual, social, intellectual, and, physical.
