About
Having been a critical care nurse for over 30 years, I have seen so many patients with life debilitating illness from chronic disease that could have been prevented from lifestyle changes. As I approached my 50's, I had my own realization that I needed to make changes in my lifestyle so that I could continue to be active. After changing my diet and getting serious about exercise, I lost 40 pounds and became an inspiration to people around me. I decided to pursue a career in fitness and became a trainer and group fitness instructor because I want to continue to inspire and use my situation to change other people's lives.
