About
I like to provide safe, but tough and eventually effective workouts. The key is for clients to hold themselves accountable for doing their homework also. Homework consists of 2 things: 1) Doing cardiovascular exercise 3-4 times per week at about 45 minutes per stint, at an intensity where you can hold an uncomfortable conversation. 2) Eating well (your conscience should help you make the decision on whether what you eat is unhealthy, or just too much). As the training progresses, each session is then seen as a test to see if the homework has been done. The body doesn't lie. It will respond (visually and with performance) in a negative or positive way depending on the day-to-day activities. The bottom line is that hard work and discipline will lead to completed homework (cardio and diet), passed tests (training sessions), and ultimately an A+ in the course (goals reached, healthy body, feeling great, looking good, lower risk of disease, higher energy levels, improved overall strength, better balance, improved coordination, enhanced overall quality of life, etc...).
