For the first 13 years of my life, I was overweight. Nature changed that at puberty and I became the exact opposite. College reversed what nature had done, and I watched my weight steadily increase until my peak of 185 pounds in 1998. I was often tired, had blemishes and was unhappy with how I looked and felt. I changed my diet, slowly began exercising, and rapidly saw positive changes. Not until then did I understand the importance of eating well and exercising. I wish someone had taught me healthy habits and the importance of a healthy lifestyle. It is always my goal to make clients understand that leading a healthy, active life is an attainable goal.
