About
After a very successful experience in weight loss through exercise and better eating habits, I knew my true calling was to help others with their fitness goals and to have them experience that same great feeling of achievement. After becoming certified as a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor through The American Council on Exercise (ACE) I began my own business of training individuals and teaching Kickboxing classes. I studied with physical therapists and learned proper training techniques for injured people and helped with rehabilitation. I am a first-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and self-defense coach. My training style is to keep the personal in personal training. Every person is different and every person’s workout should be as well. I want my clients to remember their goals are their own and it is my job to help them reach those goals. Once you begin working out, remember your body didn’t change overnight. This is a process. Begin with the end in mind and stay focused. Celebrate the little successes. Always have your long-term goals in mind, but don’t forget about the smaller goals and achievements that were accomplished along the way. This is a life changing experience not just a quick fix. You get out what you put into it, so always try for 110% and enjoy the journey.
