Whatever your goals; weight loss, improved balance, endurance or injury prevention, I can help you reduce the natural effects of aging by combining the practice of weight training with free weights and exercise balls and bands as well as TRX suspension training - my biggest passion! Together, we’ll design a fitness plan that is just right for you, your age, your activity level and your personal goals. Focus will be on using your core muscles as in pilates with proper body alignment and breathing. I am a lifelong athlete - an avid tennis player and skier who learned the hard way how important fitness training is. After several back, knee and other physical injuries, I realized I needed to strengthen my body to PROTECT it from injury. I combine pilates core work, yoga and strength training with weights, balls and bands. I recently became certified as a TRX trainer and think TRX training is the best way to acheive cardio/strength and flexibility all at the same time. Besides, my clients think it's fun and don't realize what an impact it really has. After a couple months I noticed less pain after tennis and in a year and a half I have been virtually pain free, have more endurance and feel stronger, not to mention my tennis game has improved. Now I am passionate about helping PEOPLE like you GET AND STAY fit. My 10 years of experience as a teacher (elementary school computer) has taught me patience and the importance of explaining the exercises so clients will understand and remember. My recent experience as an exercise aide at 5 different physical therapy outpatient clinics, skilled nursing inpatient, as well as monitoring and designing exercise plans for cardiac rehab
